APA SIGNS SINGER/SONGWRITER/PRODUCER AND "NEXT GREAT FAMILY BAND" JUDGE PHOENIX STONE

Phoenix Stone

Nashville, TN (April 11, 2013) --APA has signed multi-hyphenate singer, songwriter, record producer and "Next Great Family Band" judge/mentor, Phoenix Stone, across the board.  A founding member of the multi-platinum selling band, The Backstreet Boys, and co-founder/shareholder of Backstreet Boys Inc., Stone has toured worldwide with acts ranging from Britney Spears to Pink and Christina Aguilera.

Stone's new single, "100 Proof Moonshine" (from his Country EP, HONKY TONK SUPERSTAR), has already hit #1 on the New & Active Charts and the Billboard Top 50, and the video is currently airing on MTV, VH1, CMT, GAC and TCN.

Stone, who also currently serves as a judge/mentor on NBCUniversal's "Next Great Family Band" and was just announced as a celebrity correspondent for Better TV/Hallmark, is also co-founder of Stonehall Records, which has created and produced bands with Columbia Records, EMI Records and Sony Japan.  His Stonehall Entertainment banner has also created and produced television shows for MTV, Touchstone, GRB, Intuitive Entertainment and Reveille.

Stone first embraced his Southern Rock influences on the inspirational charity single, "Proud to Be (Born Again American)."  Commissioned by Norman Lear and produced by Country hit-maker James Stroud, the single reached #11 on the Country/Christian charts, with Stone donating 100% of the proceeds to American veterans and the nonprofit organization, Declare Yourself, which encourages young people to vote.

Stone began his career as a series regular on Nickelodeon's "Welcome Freshman" and as a special guest on "Clarissa Explains It All."  After signing with Warner/Chappell Nashville, Stone went on to produce and work with numerous well-known acts from the legendary Art Garfunkel to The Backstreet Boys and beyond.  His image has been featured exclusively on 50 million General Mills cereal boxes, and his songs and likeness have been used by FremantleMedia Enterprises for their multi-million unit selling "American Idol" video game.

He is also repped by Sybil Hall.
