" An understated composer with echoes of vintage Pat Metheny,
Clark exploits space and timbre in his long, modally-tinged, melodic
passages." - Guitar Player Magazine
"Thoughtful & introspective lyrics that thoroughly engage
the listener. Jazz phrasings, bluegrass flatpicking, Dobro, blues,
acrobatic rhythm guitar playing - Bryan does it all with a grace &
fluidity that is pure poetry." - Guitar Nation.com
Nashville, TN (February 4, 2009) - Guitarist/composer Bryan Clark will

Produced by Clark and Erick Jaskowiak, GOSSIP, INSPIRATION and
SLANDER (Rainfeather Records) is a vibrant dichotomy. At
times the instrumentation is clear and sparse, while at others it is
intricately woven together and delicately layered. Bryan's vocals
slide from soft-as-a-whisper to strong as steel.
Clark has composed music for television and film, has performed as a
session musician and played live at fairs, festivals and clubs.
His bluegrass quartet, Honeywagon (CMH Records), released three CDs,
and their second release, "Green Day, Blue Grass" spent over
90 weeks on the Billboard Bluegrass Top 15 Chart in 2006. He
holds a Master's Degree in classical composition from the University of
Texas in Austin and a doctorate in Jazz Guitar and
Composition from USC and is currently a Faculty Member at Belmont
University School of Music. For Clark, "it's all about
playing great music and making people happy."
