Nashville, TN (April 16, 2013)-Long Island songstress Lisa Matassa brings a unique perspective to 650 AM WSM's Guest Artist Series on Thursday, April 18 (2-3 p.m. CDT) when she will salute the Women of Country.  Fans the world over can listen online at wsmonline.com as Lisa highlights women who have made a difference in the industry.  "I've selected songs and artists I feel have truly impacted Country music - from its beginning to the present," Matassa states.

Lisa will spin hits by a diverse group of women, including Tammy Wynette, Bonnie Raitt, Patsy Cline, Faith Hill, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Lee Ann Womack, Trisha Yearwood and more.  Matassa will preview her next single, "I Won't Ask" and will also play two songs from her current EP, SOMEBODY'S BABY, "I Will Always Love You" and her current single, the disc's title track.  "I'm pretty proud of that one," Lisa comments.

Lisa has every reason to be proud of "Somebody's Baby."  The single is in its ninth consecutive week at Number 1 on iheartradio.com and was Top 40 on both the Billboard/BDS Indicator and MusicRow charts.  She recently performed the single on the nationally-televised HALLMARK Channel's 'Marie' show and Good Morning San Diego aired a live interview and showcased her video from Las Vegas during ACM week.  The video has garnered nearly four million YouTube views and can be seen on TCN, AOL and Yahoo! as well as in 1300-plus restaurants nationwide via Direct's Dining Network Quick Service Restaurant channel.
