LiveWire Whiskey Sunday Video

Billboard.com Breaks News in Feature Story

NASHVILLE, TN (August 6, 2013) -Way Out West Records' Country band LiveWire will World Premiere the video for its latest single, "Whiskey Sunday," today on CMT.com. Watch it here.

Co-directed by Amanda Young and Flick Wiltshire for Vintage Flick, the video captures the essence of the song "Whiskey Sunday"; a tale about alcohol abuse, love, loss and despair.  Shot on locations in and around Springfield, Mo., the video features LiveWire in performance scenes cut with recurring dream storyline sequences of lead singer Andy Eutsler and an elusive love interest, played by local actress Rachael Edlow.  Happier times shared by the couple are juxtaposed with hellish alcohol-induced hallucinations that haunt the man after his lover leaves him, never to return.

In a feature published today at Billboard.com, Eutsler talks about the video and the band.  Click here to read the full story.

"Whiskey Sunday" is currently making inroads at Secondary radio with strong action on the Texas Regional Report and the MusicRow charts.  "We are thrilled with the way that radio is receiving this song," states Eutsler.  "The smaller rural markets have always been strong supporters of ours.  They tell us that their core audience relates passionately to our down-to-earth songs about everyday life - and we are very happy about that."  Eutsler continues: "CMT provides us with a great platform to reach a lot of people.  They have played our videos on CMT Pure, and with their new Concrete Country series they are putting even more emphasis on traditional Country artists.  We play to a diverse crowd of Country music fans, so is a good fit to expose this video."

Indeed, LiveWire's music connects with listeners who are drawn to authentic music performed from the heart.  Edgy, honest and passionate, its songs are about real life, good times, hard times, and the up-and- downs of love, family, spirituality, death and redemption.  With influences ranging from George Jones to Lynyrd Skynyrd, LiveWire's music has been compared to Hank Jr., the Marshall Tucker Band and Charlie Daniels.

LiveWire maintains a busy performance schedule across the Midwest and Southwest U.S. and has appeared on shows recently with Roy Clark, Kyle Park, the Casey Donahew Band, Bo Phillips, the Red Dirt Rangers and others.  The group will open for the Marshall Tucker Band at the Cotillion in Wichita, Ks. on Friday September 27.
