Singer/songwriter JOHNNY ORR Shares Heartache Of Autism & Hope For Future In New Single & Video, "We'll Get By"

Nashville, TN / Raleigh, NC (April 7, 2014) - Singer/songwriter JOHNNY ORR shares the heartache of Autism and the hope for a cure in his new single and video, "We'll Get By (The Autism Song)."  The release coincides with Autism Awareness Month and the track is available for purchase now on iTunes.  The single is available to radio via CDX Vol. 592  and Airplay Direct.  A portion of the song's proceeds benefit Blooming With Autism, an organization founded in 2011.  BWA's goals are to unite the Autism Community and provide the tools, resources, awareness and advocacy necessary for families affected by the condition.

 

 

LIZZIE SIDER CONTINUES BULLYING PREVENTION MESSAGE WITH "NOBODY HAS THE POWER TO RUIN YOUR DAY" TEXAS SCHOOL TOUR

Los Angeles, CA (March 26, 2014)-LIZZIE SIDER, 15-year old emerging Country artist,is continuing her tour of elementary and middle schools, by conducting her Bully Prevention Assembly tour in Texas for 70 schools through April and May 2014.  The tour, which continues after successful stops in California and Florida, will start on April 9 in Houston and end May 29 in San Angelo.  At the completion of the Texas tour, Lizzie will have met with students at 250 schools through the 2013 - 2014 school year.

 

 

LIZZIE SIDER's Impassioned Bully Prevention Campaign Is Connecting With Kids, Tweens and Teens Across Florida

Nashville, TN (March 10, 2014) - LIZZIE SIDER's impassioned bully prevention campaign, NOBODY HAS THE POWER TO RUIN YOUR DAY, continues to connect with kids, tweens and teens across Florida this month.  During January and February, she visited 65 schools, carrying her message to more than 30,000 students.  As a spokesperson for PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center, Lizzie is uniquely qualified for her mission: she was teased and ridiculed during her elementary school years.  During these presentations the 15-year-old singer/songwriter tells her story, counsels that "nobody has the power to ruin your day," and asks kids to work together to prevent the tragedy that is bullying.  The rising star ends each 30 to 40-minute appearance with a performance of her Top 40 Country hit song/video "Butterfly" (a song about Lizzie's experiences she wrote with Jamie O'Neal), the distribution of awareness bracelets, and a long autograph session.  Including last fall's 100-school California assembly tour, Lizzie has reached a total of 70,000-plus students with her powerful message.  

 

 

SISTER TRIO MICHAELIS SIGNS WITH APA

Nashville, TN (March 4, 2014) - APA has signed the sister trio MICHAELIS.  The Michaelis sisters - Meagan (25), Mallory (21) and Madeline (18) have been winning over audiences with their soulful, sultry harmonies for more than a decade throughout their native Texas.  Meagan sings lead vocals, with Mallory providing the low harmony and rhythm guitar, while Madeline offers high harmony and multi-instrumental talents.  The trio is currently featured in Season 3 of the popular national syndicated documentary series, "Troubadour, TX," where they appear along with Kris Kristofferson, Wade Bowen, Roger Creager, Randy Rogers and others. 

 

 

 

Country Songstress SHERRY LYNN To Release A BEAUTIFUL LIFE March 11

Nashville, TN (February 4, 2014) - Country songstress SHERRY LYNN is set to release her sophomore CD, A BEAUTIFUL LIFE, on March 11 under the Steal Heart Music imprint.   The disc contains the New Jersey native's current chart-active single, the anthemic "Girls Will Be Girls," which hit radio programmers' desks via Play MPE and CDX last month.  Penned by hit-makers Ashley Gorley, Bryan Simpson and Kelley Lovelace, the rowdy recap of modern femininity has already inspired a line dance by choreographers Bob and Marlene Peyre-Ferry.  The album, produced by Ted Hewitt, also features Lynn's recent hit with Country legend Crystal Gayle.  The duet, written by award-winning tunesmith Danny Wells ("Check Yes Or No," "These Days"), Jose Luis Pagan and Sarah Lenore, is the project's title track and the song Lynn performed on her Grand Ole Opry debut with Crystal.
