JIM ED BROWN and THE BROWNS TO BECOME THE NEWEST MEMBERS OF THE COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME

NASHVILLE, TN ( March 27,2015) - This week, the Country Music Association announced that Jim Ed Brown and The Browns will become the newest members of the revered Country Music Hall of Fame in the "Veterans Era Artist" category and the excitement continues to build!!  Jim Ed Brown and The Browns (siblings Maxine and Bonnie) will be stopping by the SiriusXM studios to appear on Willie's Roadhouse with Charlie Monk this Sunday, March 29th at 8 pm (ET) and re-air on Tuesday, March 31st at 11 am (ET). In addition, Jim Ed Brown will bring The Browns to the Grand Ole Opry during his appearances this weekend.

Country Legend JIM ED BROWN Guests On SiriusXM's Willie's Roadhouse, Tomorrow At 9 a.m. ET

Nashville, TN (March 16, 2015) - Country legend and Grand Ole Opry® star JIM ED BROWN joins longtime friend and celebrated on-air personality Charlie Monk on SiriusXM's Willie's Roadhouse (Channel 59) tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17 at 9 a.m. ET for an in-depth personal interview which repeats Thursday, March 19 at 11 a.m. ET.  The two industry icons covered a range of topics during the course of last week's taping, among them: Brown's Arkansas childhood, his recent battle with cancer and its remission, his memories of singing with his sisters Maxine and Bonnie (as The Browns), his duet partnership with Helen Cornelius, new music and more.

 

 

Newcomer James Carothers Finding Nashville A Natural Fit

Nashville, TN (February 23, 2015) - Newcomer James Carothers is finding Nashville a natural fit.  The talented vocalist moved to Music City a few short weeks ago, and a series of "firsts" have made for a warm welcome in spite of the area's cold winter weather.  On February 25, Carothers will make his debut on 650 AM WSM's "Coffee, Country and Cody" show as Bill Cody's guest artist.  The 9:30 a.m. CT interview and performance will stream live, and fans can listen in HERE.

 

 

RAY PRICE "For The Good Times" Exhibit To Be Unveiled February 28 At Texas Country Music Hall of Fame

Nashville, TN (January 30, 2015) - A special exhibit honoring Country icon RAY PRICE and titled "For The Good Times" will be unveiled on Saturday, February 28 at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in Carthage, Texas.  The new display will feature over 60 of the star's personal items, and represents Ray's many career accomplishments and his lifelong commitment to his craft.  Following a 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony, fans can tour the exhibit for the day, free of charge.

 

 

JIM ED BROWN Returns To Grand Ole Opry® On January 30 & 31 Following Four-Month Absence

Nashville, TN (January 28, 2015) - Living legend JIM ED BROWN returns to the stage of the  Grand Ole Opry on Friday, January 30 and Saturday, January 31, following a four-month absence for treatment of lung cancer.  Brown will appear both nights during the 8:45 p.m. CT segment, and will sign copies of his new CD, IN STYLE AGAIN, at the Opry Store on Saturday from 9:15-10 p.m.  Fans can listen to the performances live as they stream on wsmonline.com.

Grand Ole Opry Star Jim Ed Brown's New CD Rolls Out Tomorrow

Nashville, TN (January 19, 2015) - Grand Ole Opry star Jim Ed Brown's first CD release in 30 years, IN STYLE AGAIN, rolls out tomorrow, January 20.  The 13-track disc features guest stars Vince Gill, The Whites and The Browns - and reunites Jim Ed with long-time duet partner Helen Cornelius.  Yesterday The Boot kicked off release week coverage with a feature that included personal track-by-track descriptions and an in-depth interview with the legendary performer.
